AMAZIGH FILM

Amazigh is a short documentary I directed and produced in Taghazout, Morocco, starring five-time surf champion Maryam El Gardoum. The film celebrates the resilience of Amazigh women, the beauty of Berber culture, and the power of surfing to challenge expectations and inspire freedom. It remains one of my most meaningful projects to date.

A woman in a black wetsuit sitting on a large rock floating in the ocean, waves crashing around her, under a clear blue sky.
A person is dressed in traditional attire with ornate jewelry and accessories, wearing a red veil and looking off into the distance against a bright sky.
An aerial view of a person on a surfboard in the ocean, with waves and foam visible around them.
